About Norcross Georgia
Norcross was officially established as a town in 1870. Like many cities around Atlanta, Norcross was named after a railroad executive- Jonathan Norcross who was a mayor of Atlanta as well.
The population of Norcross hovers around 17,000 people with a mixture of ethnic backgrounds. It has a nice mix of both residential homes as well as industrial neighborhoods. There’s been at least one NFL player who calls Norcross his hometown- Alvin Kamara who played for the Saints. ABC studios once filmed the TV show Resurrection in downtown Norcross.
